The steam turbine regulating valve disc (also known as the valve clack) is the core moving component of the regulating valve. It directly contacts high‑temperature and high‑pressure steam, and by opening and closing against the valve seat, it changes the steam flow area to precisely control the steam flow entering the turbine, thereby regulating the unit’s speed and load. Its structural design and material properties directly determine the valve’s control accuracy, sealing reliability, and erosion resistance.

3) Adapting to the steam flow field to reduce throttling losses.
4) High requirements for erosion resistance, wear resistance, and strength.

1) Seal leakage, erosion and wear of the sealing surface.
