Product Introduction

The turbine regulating valve stem steam collection ring (also known as the steam seal ring) is a sealing component installed between the valve stem and the valve body stuffing box. Its core function is to perform staged throttling, collection, and diversion of the high-temperature and high-pressure steam leaking outward along the valve stem. It is an important auxiliary structure for the dynamic sealing of the valve stem, and its sealing performance directly affects the leakage control of the regulating valve and the economic operation of the unit. It is widely applicable to various turbine regulating valves and main steam valves.

1. Main Functions:

1) Staged throttling and sealing to prevent steam leakage.

2) Collecting and diverting leaked steam for centralized discharge.

3) Guiding and limiting to protect the valve stem and packing.

4) Insulating and cooling to reduce the working load of the packing.

5) Serving as a carrier for the sealing device.

2. Common Faults:

1) Wear of the inner hole.

2) Blockage of the steam collection ring.

3) Deformation of the steam collection ring, resulting in uneven sealing clearance and valve stem sticking.

4) Steam leakage at the mating surface between the steam collection ring and the valve body.

5) Sticking of the valve stem due to restricted expansion of the steam collection ring.
