The turbine start valve interlock (also known as the start control valve interlock device) serves as a core safety interlock component during both unit startup and normal operation. Integrated into the start valve (or start control circuit), it is installed on the turbine front bearing housing, hydraulic control panel, or control room console. Its primary function is to ensure the safety of steam inlet regulation during startup while responding to emergency shutdown signals. It rapidly interrupts the control oil circuit or electrical signal to the start-up valve, halting steam regulation. This prevents accidents such as overspeed or overpressure during startup or operation caused by abnormal conditions, making it a critical safety component linking start-up control and emergency shutdown.

1) Circuit establishment switch during the start-up phase.
