6. Disassembly and Inspection of Steam Valve and Connecting Rod
Steam Valve and Connecting Rod Maintenance
1. Steam Chamber Cover Inspection:
1) Inspect whether the centerline surface of the steam chamber cover is level; clean oil residue and impurities.
2) Check valve clearance; adjust if necessary to ensure reliable sealing.
3) When reinstalling, tighten bolts diagonally in multiple stages to ensure even force distribution.
2. Valve Stem and Seal Inspection:
1) Inspect valve stems for deformation or wear. Check seals and packing for aging; replace periodically as needed.
2) Verify full circumferential contact of valve seats without gaps. Grind any grooves or air pockets if found.
3) Valve Body and Valve Core Maintenance The inner wall of the valve body must withstand pressure and resist corrosion. The valve seat threads should be secured against loosening. The valve core must be inspected for corrosion and wear.
