4. Governor Maintenance

Governor Maintenance

1. Disassembly and Inspection:

1) After removing oil pipes, disassemble the governor valve assembly. Inspect for lever bending or deformation and hinge bearing flexibility.

2) Check the governor valve core for wear, burrs, or rust. Use fine oilstone or wet sandpaper for polishing; never use coarse tools.

3) Clean the air vent, throttle oil orifice, and inlet oil filter to ensure unobstructed flow.

2. Assembly Requirements:

The sleeve and valve core must be thoroughly coated with clean turbine oil. After reassembly, ensure full-stroke flexibility without binding. Tighten bolts symmetrically and evenly. Record the length of the governor's throttle linkage before and after maintenance; the stroke must comply with factory drawings.

Hydraulic Motor Maintenance

1. Pre-Maintenance Preparation: Mark relative positions of components before disassembly. Measure locating dimensions for feedback sections.

2. Safety Measures: For single-side oil inlet motors, loosen springs with long bolts to prevent cover ejection.

3. Disassembly and Cleaning: Thoroughly remove oil residue from the housing. Clean disassembled parts with kerosene.

4. Critical Component Inspection:

1) Inspect all sleeve spools for damage. Remove minor burrs with metallographic sandpaper. Replace severely worn or out-of-tolerance sleeve spools as necessary.

2) Springs: Check for deformation, cracks, and elasticity. Ensure compliance with design specifications.
