Description

The function of the automatic main steam valve can be summarized as "fully open during normal operation without throttling and quickly isolate in an emergency to ensure safety". The main steam valve consists of two parts: the valve body and the oil cylinder. The valve body includes structures such as the main valve disc and diffuser nozzles. When not open, the steam thrust and spring force press the main valve disc against the valve seat to block the steam passage. The pre-opening valve can balance the pressure before and after the main valve disc to reduce the opening resistance. The oil cylinder part controls the movement of the piston disk through the pressure difference between the start-up oil and the quick-closing oil, driving the valve stem to open and close the valve. When the quick-closing oil loses pressure, the spring force drives the piston disk to close the valve.
