Silicone sealant is a high-performance adhesive and sealant primarily used for bonding and sealing equipment in oil-resistant and high-temperature environments. It offers long-term temperature resistance from -50°C to 280°C (e.g., Kraft), combined with resistance to weak acids, alkalis, and ozone. It also features UL94-VO flame retardancy, making it suitable for industrial equipment such as steam turbines.
This adhesive exhibits outstanding weather resistance, withstanding UV radiation, ozone, thermal cycling, and humid environments. It also provides shock resistance, electrical insulation, and waterproofing properties. It exhibits strong adhesion to metals (e.g., aluminum) and plastics (e.g., PVC, PBT), with rapid curing (surface dry in 5-30 minutes), good thixotropy, and no sagging. The adhesive is a non-toxic, environmentally friendly material compliant with EU RoHS standards, containing no solvents or corrosive components.
