Description
The turbine rotor is the core rotating component of a turbine, consisting of components such as the main shaft, the impeller, and the moving blades. Its main function is to convert the thermal energy and kinetic energy of steam into mechanical energy. The main shaft is responsible for supporting and torque transmission, the impeller is used to fix the moving blades, and the moving blades directly withstand the steam impact to achieve energy conversion.
Based on its structure, it is divided into wheel-type (suitable for the high-pressure section) and drum-type (suitable for the low-pressure section), corresponding to impulse-type and reaction-type turbines respectively.
