The C160 steam turbine is a single-stage back-pressure type turbine featuring a single-speed-up impeller with a pitch circle diameter of 1600 mm. Operating at a shaft speed of 1500 r/min, it delivers power ranging from 900 to 3000 kW. This model is specifically designed to drive low-speed, high-flow, high-power circulating water pumps. It features direct coupling with the pump for a compact overall layout. Suitable steam source: high-flow, low-temperature, low-pressure superheated steam.

 

 

Structural Features

Structure: Quick-mount double-pivot impulse single-stage backpressure unit

 Layout: Single-tier arrangement

 Mechanical Speed Control: Integrated automatic main steam valve with dual-actuator direct-stroke regulation

● Electronic Speed Control: Siemens PLC programmable controller, standard equipped with Siemens two-out-of-three overspeed protection

● Overspeed Protection: Dual mechanical fly-hammer type with electromagnetic valve electronic intelligent control

● Steam Seal Type: Aluminum-carbon precision spring-compensated gapless seal

● Main Steam Valve: Integrated automatic main steam valve (rapid-closing regulating combination valve)

● Main shaft assembly: Multi-speed impeller blades, interference fit between rotor and impeller, impeller blades with embedded design

● Lubrication system: Oil slinger splash lubrication

● Thermal expansion compensation: Fixed rear bearing support, sliding thermal compensation for front bearing support
